Inauguration of EMC lab at VRDE, Ahmednagar in Aug, 2009

NATRIP is forging ahead at a fast pace on schedule. Currently, tenders worth more than Rs 1642.97 Cr have been floated and tenders worth around Rs 1403.98 crore have been finalized.

The EMC lab at VRDE, Ahmednagar is fully functional and was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises on 16th August, 2009. The EMC Lab at VRDE is one of the biggest in the world and first of its kind in the country with an investment of Rs. 31.75 Crore. It Caters for wheeled and tracked vehicles platform level testing     and subsystem level testing.

Inauguration of hill driver training centre, Dholchora in Jan, 2010 

At Silchar Centre, a hill driver training centre equipped with training tracks and a driving simulator at Dholchora was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises on 16th January, 2010 and the Hill Driving Institute, Mechanics Institute and the model Inspection & Maintenance (I & M) Centre at Jaffirbund is expected to be functional and commissioned by Nov, 10.

Foundation Stone laying ceremony at ICAT Manesar Campus II

The Foundation Stone for ICAT Manesar II Campus was successfully laid at the gracious hands of Shri. Vilasrao Deshmukh, Hon’ble Minister for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises on 04th June, 2010. The ICAT Manesar Campus II spread over 46.29 Acre campus would house Homologation & Testing facilities of niche areas – NVH, EMC and Passive Safety besides various Test Tracks

Accident Data Analysis Centre at Rae Bareilly

At Rae Bareilly, an Accident Data Analysis Centre has been put up by NATRiP at the premises of ITI Limited, a public sector undertaking on lease basis and is expected to be functional and commissioned by Nov, 10.

At G-ARC Chennai and ICAT Manesar centres of NATRIP, three powertrain labs for mileage accumulation are slated to be commissioned by Dec, 2010.
