contract for hiring of private vehicles in
Department of Heavy Industry.
Sir,
I
am directed to say that the Department of Heavy Industry invites sealed
quotations for hiring of private vehicles on day to day need basis. The total value of the contract in a year may
be of Rs. 5-6 lakhs approx.
The tender offers in sealed covers should be
submitted to the undersigned on or before
7.11.2005 along with earnest
money deposit of Rs 15,000/- (Rs.
Fifteen thousand) only in the form of a
Demand Draft/FDR in favour of DDO, Department of
Heavy Industry. The tenders would be
opened on 8.11.12005 at
1.
The contract will be for one year
but can be terminated at any time
without assigning any reason Taxes like
VAT etc. , if any, may be quoted separately,
failing which no amount towards any tax will be paid.
2.
The
rates may be quoted
for 80 KMs. and 8 hours of duty and also for 40 KMs and 4 Hours of
duties. The rates of extra K.M. and
extra duty hours may be shown, separately.
3.
The
rates for continue duty on monthly basis and the rates for day to day duty on
need base may be shown , separately.
4.
The
rates of each type of vehicles may be quoted ,
separately.
5.
The
vehicles should be in good looking and running condition.
6.
The
drivers should wear proper uniform and be provided with the Mobile phones. The drivers should have sufficient experience
and be well conversant with the routes in Delhi.
7.
The
vehicle should be made available to the Department within 30 minutes of the
receipt of the call.
8.
The
duty slip should be got signed from the user immediately on reporting for duty
and also after the close of the duty.
No payment will be made without the production of the duty slip.
9.
The
total numbers of different types of vehicles available with your agency may be
indicated.
10.In the
case of break-down of any vehicle, the agency should be able to provide another vehicle within 30
minutes.
11.If any
duty is not attended to , an amount of Rs. 500/- per
duty will be deducted from the subsequent bill as a penalty.
12.The
successful contractor will have to deposit Rs.
30,000/- (Rs. Thirty thousands only) in advance as
security deposit in the form of a DD/FDR in favour of
DDO, DHI to be retained during the currency of the contract.
13.In case
of violation of the above terms of the contract, the security deposit would be
forfeited..
14.The
earnest money deposit will be returned after the contract has been finalized
and contractor selected.
Accordingly,
you may, if interested, send your quotations in sealed covers to the undersigned on or before 7.11.2005
along with earnest money deposit of Rs. 15,000/- (Rs. Fifteen thousand) only
in the form of DD/FDR in favour of DDO, Deptt.
of Heavy Industry.
